    Job Summary

    As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Telemetry Unit Nurse plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care. This dynamic individual will be responsible for monitoring patients' medical history, test results, and treatment plans, while also administering medication and performing treatment interventions under the guidance of healthcare specialists.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Reviewing and analyzing patients' medical histories, test results, and treatment plans to inform personalized care strategies.
    • Tracking and recording routine vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.
    • Interpreting and reporting data from specialized medical technologies and equipment, such as electrocardiograms and cardiac monitors.
    • Collaborating with healthcare specialists to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date ward charts, patient files, and medical records.
    • Instructing Telemetry Unit staff on best practices in patient care and treatment protocols.
    • Communicating critical information to healthcare specialists, including changes in patient condition and deteriorating trends.
    • Providing clear explanations of test results and procedures to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns.
    • Offering expert advice on post-hospital care, including medication management, home care protocols, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.

    Education and Certification:

    A graduate from an accredited nursing school, associate's or Bachelor of Science degree program is required; BSN is preferred.

    • Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse.
    • Holding current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
