Senior Project Developer Needed

Utility Scale BESS

$140-175,000 + BONUS

Company Overview
We've partnered with a utility scale BESS developer looking to bring on a project developer to their team. The role is remote, but the candidate should be able to easily travel to their Manhattan, NY office. New York and New England candidates preferred

This candidate will be in charge of leading the development of a robust pipeline of utility-scale brownfield Battery Energy Storage projects into the NY-ISO region.

Responsibilities
Develop a pipeline of brownfield Battery Energy Storage assets in NYISO.
Vet projects for environmental, financial, interconnection, permitting, and technical constraints.
Negotiate with vendors, along with permits, tax and other project related agreements.
Prioritize work to meet project deadlines, budgets and goals.
Professionally represent the organization to various parties including landowners, vendors, local officials and other stakeholders.
Ability to travel to various project sites in the NorthEast.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
3+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree, preferably in Energy, Land Management, or related field
Experience developing DG or utility-scale solar OR battery energy storage projects.
NY-ISO or related ISO experience.
Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
