Reporting to the IT Support Manager, this position is responsible for the 1st and 2nd level technical support to our different sites in the US but can be engaged to provide virtual support to any of our global offices and employees.

Your day will look like this:

• Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support to users of our different US sites;
• Offer remote support for other global offices (by phone and remote desktop connection);
• Analyze and resolve hardware and software issues;
• Install, configure, upgrade and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other network devices;
• Analyze and understand the user IT needs and respond to information requests, questions and problems relating to systems;
• Record incidents and requests and their resolution in ticket system;
• Create and manage AD and Exchange accounts;
• Manage telephone sets and voice mailboxes;
• Order and configure mobile phones;
• Order and manage IT equipment pool;
• Keep inventory of all equipment, software and licenses;
• Assist in onboarding new users;
• Create and update documentation for users and technician;
• Provide backup support to the System Administrator as needed;
• Provide on call support as needed;
• Identify and suggest possible improvements;
• Be on the lookout for the latest technologies to ensure high efficiency and contribute to the growth of the business.

Qualifications and skills:

• College degree in IT;
• 3 years experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Business (AD, Office 365, Teams);
• Experience in analyzing and solving technical problems;
• Hold a driver's license in order to travel to our various offices;
• Be available evenings and weekends (as needed);
• Ability to establish priorities and sense of organization;
• Strong ability to work with deadlines and manage pressure;
• Demonstrate rigor and attention to details;
• Strong relational and interpersonal skills;
• Act with diplomacy;
• Strong customer approach skills;
• Ability to adapt to change;
• Good team collaboration;

Installation/disassembly

• Participate to assembling and dismantling of the technical equipment;
• Ensure the good installation of the equipment in respect of the plan;
• Ensure the safety of the technical installations, at all times;
• Respect and promote procedures and regulations fixed by Solotech regarding the equipments treatment and management;
• Collaborate with the other departments involved;

Equipments handling

• May be asked to operate technical equipment;
• May be asked to ensure the smooth technical operations during the event;
• May be asked to manage a team throughout different projects stages;

Supervision

• Lead a team (Solotechs employees and supernumeraries);

Client's contact

• Work closely with internal and external partners in order to ensure high quality customer service;
• May act as the clients contact person for all questions, comments or changes related to the projects management.

• tre titulaire d'un AEC ou DEC dans un domaine pertinent de l'audiovisuel;
• Avoir un minimum de 3 ans d'exprience de travail pertinente;
• Excellentes connaissances de des divers quipements techniques;
• Connaissances en rseautique et lectricit;
• Dtenir un permis de chariot lvateur et/ou de nacelle lvatrice et une formation sur le travail en hauteur (un atout);
• Matrise des deux langues officielles (un atout);
• tre en mesure de se dplacer sur les diffrents sites;
• Connaissances de bases intermdiaires du logiciel R2;
• tre en mesure de modifier et dessiner des plans cad laide du logiciel Autocad (un atout);

• AEC or DEC in a pertinent audiovisual field

• Knowledge in electricity and network;
• Possess a permit for operating a forklift and/or an aerial lift, and a training on working at heights (an asset);
• Master both official languages (an asset);
• Be able to move to different sites;
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of R2 software;
• Able to modify and design CAD plans with Autocad software (an asset);
• Knowledge of specialised technical software (an asset);
• Be flexible regarding the working schedule;
