- Aircraft Maintenance and Repairs:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, avionics, and other components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Inspections:
- Conduct detailed inspections of aircraft and components in accordance with FAA standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Certify that completed maintenance meets airworthiness requirements.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.
- Adhere to all FAA regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other mechanics, technicians, and engineers to resolve technical issues.
- Communicate with flight crews and maintenance supervisors to ensure aircraft are safe for operation.
- Tool and Equipment Management:
- Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, tools, and repair techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and maintenance software.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Experience with Citation, King Air, Pilatus, Hawker, and any General Aviation aircraft.
- Additional certifications (e.g., Inspection Authorization, Avionics).
- Experience in a Part 145 Repair Station environment.
- Ability to lift up to [50-70] pounds.
- Work in confined spaces and elevated areas.
- Stand, bend, kneel, and work at heights for extended periods.
- Work in varying weather conditions and environments.
- M-F 8:30AM - 5PM
