- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing
- Escort clients to appointments, outings, and social activities
- Provide medication reminders as needed (prompting and cueing only; no administration)
- Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
- Follow care plans and ensure all care is provided in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred
- Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in caregiving is a plus
