    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will develop and implement integration solutions to connect various software applications and systems, ensuring a seamless user experience. This role requires a deep understanding of software development, system architecture, and data management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Design and Development:

    • Develop and implement integration solutions using various tools and technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), Student Information Systems (SIS), and other systems used by their institutions, which can include CRMs, Document Management, and Student Organization platforms.
    • Manage the seamless integration of systems, ensuring compatibility and communication mainly between the customer institution LMS and SIS platforms is critical using best practices of APIs, which include Ellucian Ethos, Anthology API, PeopleSoft API, and Learning Tool Integrations.
    • Set up SFTP access for student record data transfer into various institutions' systems.
    • Set up CAS, Azure, and SAML-2 Single Sign-On configurations for customers.
    • Ensure integration solutions are scalable, efficient, and secure.

    Testing and Deployment:

    • Conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to ensure functionality and performance.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly.
    • Deploy integration solutions in production environments, ensuring minimal disruption.

    Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and business analysts to understand integration requirements.
    • Partner with the sales and partner success teams to discuss integration capabilities and processes with current and prospective partners.
    • Work with external partners and vendors to integrate third-party systems effectively.
    • Communication and coordination with customer institutions are critical parts of the workflow and responsibilities of this position.

    Documentation and Project Management:

    • Document integration processes, data flows, and system configurations meticulously.
    • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for all integration projects.
    • Handle project management from concept to execution, ensuring timely completion within budget.

    Support and Maintenance:

    • Provide ongoing support for existing integration solutions.
    • Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
    • Stay updated with the latest integration technologies and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    Experience:

    • Proven experience as an Integration Engineer or in a similar role.
    • Experience with integration platforms, REST APIs, and middleware.
    • Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python, ).
    • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

    Skills:

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent understanding of system architecture and software development principles.
    • Knowledge of data formats (XML, JSON) and data exchange protocols (REST, SOAP).
    • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
