Cloud Engineer - Fort Gregg-Adams, United States - Apex Systems

Candidates for this remote position must possess an active CompTIA Security+ certification and have experience with Azure Migrate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of Cloud Web Services Administration.
- Providing technical leadership and designing cloud projects.
- Architecting and migrating on-premises applications/systems to a cloud platform.
- Designing, developing, implementing, utilizing, and adhering to enterprise cloud architecture application solutions and standards.
- Collaborating with various teams to define and communicate application and data architecture standards.
- Designing and implementing high availability features for mission partners in the Cloud.
- Assisting mission partners with Cloud portal navigation and specific technologies.
- Engineering solutions for mission partner Cloud networking, configuration, and security services.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with one of the major cloud service providers (Amazon, Microsoft, or Google).

Baseline Certification (mandatory):
- DoD 8570 IAT II or higher.
- Ability to acquire Computing Environment Certification in at least one area.
- Minimum Secret Clearance.
