    Description

    Job Title: Statistical Leader

    The successful candidate will be a statistical leader in the cross-functional development team of one compound/indication.

    Responsibilities include providing statistical expertise to the development strategy, decision making, and interpretation of data generated through the clinical development program. Excellence and innovation among quantitative methods are highly valued.

    Collaboration with program partners and stakeholders is crucial to deliver on-time statistical deliverables for all clinical trials and/or HA submissions of one compound/indication.

    The role reports to a disease area team leader within the Biostatistics and Statistical Modelling organization.

    Functional responsibilities are carried out in accordance with applicable company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

    About the Role:

    • This position requires a Master or Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Statistics or a related field with at least 6 years' experience.
    • The ideal candidate has expertise in drug development in a regulatory environment, demonstrating advanced knowledge of biostatistics and its application to clinical trials.
    • Experience in clinical trial design and scenario-planning is also essential.
    • A background in the Pharma or Biotech environment is necessary, with extensive experience in multiple clinical trials.
    • The ability to plan, supervise, implement, and monitor statistical processes is critical.
    • Bayesian statistics expertise is desired.
    • Proficiency in statistical software, such as SAS and R, is required.
    • Candidates must be able to collaborate effectively with program partners and stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication skills are necessary to explain complex statistical concepts.
    • A team-player attitude and autonomy in a dynamic work environment are essential.

    Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year
