    Job Title:

    Outside Plant Technician (Telecommunications Industry)

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Outside Plant Technician to perform telecommunications outside plant technical services. The ideal candidate will have experience in cable staking, design, and/or construction of outside plant facilities, with a strong understanding of fiber and copper network construction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform outside plant engineering tasks
    • Design and document Outside Plant Copper or Fiber Optic Cable facilities (UG, Aerial, Buried)
    • Stake aerial and underground fiber optic cable
    • Obtain permits from railroad, highway, pipeline authorities
    • Complete work according to customer specifications and requirements

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years of Outside Plant Telecom work experience and OSP engineering or Construction experience
    • Familiarity with utility work construction practices and techniques
    • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
    • Valid driver's license and ability to pass substance abuse screening test

    Compensation:

    $40-$60 per hour, depending on education, experience, and credentials. Benefits package includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, ESOP, and a 401k Plan.

    Work Schedule:

    Typically Monday through Thursday, 10 hours a day
