Advantage Resourcing is seeking a Material Handler to join an esteemed engineering company in Morgan City, LA.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Receive, store, issue, and ship materials, equipment, and items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard
Count and record stock items manually or using computer systems
Pack, unpack, stock, and inventory items within the designated department
Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
Maintain records and compile stock reports
Create and maintain shipping data
Determine appropriate shipping methods
Deliver materials to departments using hand trucks or sorting bins
Communicate with establishment representatives to resolve issues such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED
Entry-level position
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
Ability to lift between 20-50 pounds frequently
