    Senior Sales Account ManagerThe Senior Sales Account Manager must be in a commutable distance from the Boston area or Philadelphia area.

    Sales GroupIdentifies and establishes relationships with new customers and/or manages and builds relationships with existing customers. Provides internal and external technical and/or customer support in the development and application of products, processing techniques and resolution of problems.This is a salary-paid position with an annual targeted bonus. This position is not commission-based.The sales team is made up of approximately 30-40 staff and includes other sales representatives, as well as various technical experts and specialists within the organization such as R&D, Customer Service, and manufacturing.Some of the main clients are in the Boston, MA and Philadelphia area, and the Senior Sales Account Manager will be visiting those clients frequently.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor's degree or higher
    • Degree preferably in Engineering or a technical field, but open to other types of bachelor's degrees (or higher).
    • 5-10 or more years of previous sales experience in an industrial manufacturing industry
    • Must be willing and able to travel domestically 25% - 50% of the time (within the U.S.A.)
    • Must be in Northeastern United States.
    • Must be in a commutable distance from a major airport.
    • Previous experience with the packaging industry is a plus.
    • Previous experience with technical sales is a plus.
    • Highly Preferred: Must be in a commutable distance from the Boston area or the Philadelphia area.
    • Professional with significant knowledge within own discipline and knowledge of related disciplines, completing specialized and/or moderately complex tasks under moderate supervision.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Requires conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and developing knowledge of related job disciplines.
    • Has developed a detailed understanding of key business drivers through multiple years of experience.
    • May supervise or act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
    • May supervise employees, focused on task performance and delivery of specialized processes.
    • Has the ability to understand and influence.
    • Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team.
    • Begins to work independently with minimal to moderate guidance.
    • Analyzes potential solutions to problems (with or without vague/unstructured aspects) using experience, judgment, and precedents.
    • Work requires judgment and consideration of future implications beyond the immediate problem.
    • Customer-focused. Work to determine key drivers to delighting customers, growing relationships and revenue.
    • Works to find resolution for both new opportunities and issues.
    • Will be responsible for sales forecast within their territory.
    • Will work cross functionally with different disciplines.
    • Maximizes revenues from sales of the organization's products and/or services either through direct sales or through a base of reseller partners such as dealers, systems integrators, value-added resellers, distributors, or retailers.
    • Administers sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goals.
    • May identify and establish relationships with new customers.
    • May locate, evaluate, and recruit potential channel partners.
    • Supports partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, such as marketing, advertising, sales promotions, and training, to achieve revenue targets.
