The Fulfillment Optimization team builds the platforms that determine how customer orders are fulfilled, optimizing for Wayfair profitability and customer delight.

A big part of our work revolves around enhancing and scaling customer-facing platforms that provide fulfillment information on our websites, starting at the top of the customer funnel on the search pages through orders being delivered.

Throughout this customer journey, we are responsible for maintaining an accurate representation of our dynamic supply chain, determining how different products will fit into boxes, predicting how these boxes will flow through warehouses and trucks, and ultimately surfacing the information our customers need to inform their decision and the details our suppliers and carriers require to successfully execute on the promises made to our customers.

You will work in a global team, with on-premise and cloud-based deployments in an inclusive environment.

Lead and manage a team of - 9 engineers focused on building the core optimization engine for Wayfair's Supply Chain.

Own the output of the team both from a technical and performance perspective.

Mentor engineers in the team through training, coaching, code reviews, and 1:1 mentorship providing career and professional development for your staff.

Work with teams across the Fulfillment Optimization and the wider Wayfair's Supply Chain Technology to enable your team's outcomes
Accountable for the systems built by your team including technical design, development, test, monitoring, and deployment.
Engage your team to construct the technical roadmap and lead planning, delivery and continuous improvement.
4+ years of experience managing a high performing engineering team.
~ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
