    Job Title:

    Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator - Field Service


    Purpose:

    The EHS Coordinator - Field Service is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state environmental, health, and safety regulations. This includes maintaining records, preparing reports, and conducting site visits to assess safety and risk.


    Main Responsibilities:

    • Maintains accurate records of EHS information on Delta Star systems and industry-standard systems.
    • Develops work safety standards, emergency preparedness plans, and evacuation procedures.
    • Manages Workers' Compensation program and monitors lost-time injuries.
    • Trains employees on safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Participates in OSHA inspections, providing inspectors with necessary documents and identifying safety measures.
    • Maintains current SDS sheets for all products used.
    • Prepares, maintains, and submits all necessary safety reporting requirements.
    • Works as a liaison between regulatory agencies and other company departments.
    • Performs complex environmental work requiring independent analysis and judgment.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience in the EHS industry, preferably in construction/substation/transformer field service.
    • Training, knowledge, or certification in NFPA70E, OSHA 10/30, Electrical Safety Hazards, Confined Space, and AED/CPR.
    • Knowledge and understanding of DOT & DOL laws and regulations, HAZMAT, SPCC, and/or EPA guidelines/regulations.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
    • Leadership skills to influence results, maintain integrity, and credibility.
    • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with governmental agencies, trade groups, and other industries.

    Travel Requirements:

    • Willingness to travel up to 20-50% of the time or based on business need.
