- As a registered nurse in the medical trauma unit, you will provide therapeutic care to patients being treated for cardiac, respiratory, renal, and other conditions.
- You will assess acute changes in patients, monitor and analyze heart rhythms, interpret ECGs, note arrhythmias, and intervene in emergencies.
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, providers, cardiac specialists, and patient care staff, you will administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs by establishing policies, procedures, and protocols of the facility.
- During every shift, you will monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions utilizing our computerized documentation systems.
- As a part of the clinical team, you will coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team and participate in patient/family education.
- When dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers, and other customers, you will maintain cultural and diversity awareness and much more.
