    Opportunity Details:

    We seek a board-certified Pediatric Intensivist Physician to join our team at Grand Strand Medical Center. As a member of our intensivist team, you will be responsible for providing critical care services to pediatric patients in our 8-bed PICU/General Pediatrics unit.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to pediatric patients in the ICU setting
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
    • Conduct daily rounds with residents and fellows to discuss patient progress and provide education
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce lengths of stay
    • Collaborate with the ER and other departments to ensure seamless transitions of care

    Required Qualifications:

    • Board certification in Pediatrics and Critical Care Medicine
    • Current licensure in the state of South Carolina
    • 2+ years of experience in pediatric intensive care
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
