The Bariatric Psychologist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive pre-operative psychosocial evaluations for patients undergoing bariatric surgery as well as providing pre- and post- operative individualized or group-based behavioral health interventions as needed.
The Psychologist will collaborate with the other members of the team including surgeons, nurse practitioners, nurses dietitians and community physicians.
Experience Requirements:
Fellowship/Internship/Residency - Related Area Required - And 1 Year Related Position Experience Preferred
Education Required:
Doctorate Psychology Required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Licensed Psychologist Required
Hours of Work:
M-F 8-5
Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
Call Requirements:
None
