    Role Description

    The Junior Project Developer will work on-site and will play an important role in project development from concept to completion.

    Tasks will include prospecting, landowner engagement, creating & managing project timelines, identifying potential project risks, feasibility analysis including solar bylaw analysis and desktop due diligence.


    This position will be focused on our solar asset class This is a full-time role and is located in Albany, New York Metropolitan Area.

    Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Site origination, including landowner engagement, prospecting and securing site control for solar and stand-alone-storage assets
    Leading site screening and project feasibility analysis, including local law & property tax analysis and desktop due diligence
    Assist in the submission of interconnection applications for solar and stand-alone-storage assets
    Supporting the management and guidance of solar and stand-alone energy storage projects in development, including identification and management of critical path items from landowner engagement to project-Notice to Proceed ("NTP")
    Assist in the preparation of materials in support of permitting activities and engagement with various Authorities Holding Jurisdiction (AHJs)
    Assist in the management of 3rd party contractors and engineering firms, including interconnection engineers, site designers, and civil & environmental consulting firms

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in any field (curiosity, effort and the ability/desire to find the answer are just as important)
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    Strong interpersonal communication skills and team collaboration skills
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
    Experience with project management software is a plus
    Experience in renewable energy is a plus
