Responsibilities Serves as a Child, Youth and School (CYS)Services Supervisory Program Specialist with responsibility for oversight of school age children. Works in-ratio 50% of the time. Acts as Director/Asst Director in the event of management absence up to 20% of the time. Will routinely work between CYS facilities for the purposes of providing management oversight for regular, evening or weekend operation. Is responsible for and ensures compliance with regulation, policy, and procedures in areas assigned.
Works with trainer and supervisor to plan, coordinate and implement activities and special events that meet the physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs of children to include training and observations.
Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications 1. Successful completion of a 4-year college or university degree with a major course of study which directly relates to the appropriate CYS field consistent with:Facilities:
The education must have been in child development, early childhood education, home economics (early childhood emphasis), elementary education, special education or other fields appropriate to the position to be filled such as related behavioral science - For positions in Youth
