- The Lead Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality support to physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) in meeting the practice's operational needs and the patient's medical needs.
- Works collaboratively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to promote positive patient outcomes.
- The Lead RN assesses and evaluates patient conditions and then plans, implements, provides, and documents patient care that follows professional nursing standards and outlined practices.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, biological science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- Three years registered nurse Nursing experience.
- Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado.
- 2 years job-related/clinic experience.
- RN experience in Primary Care or Care Management setting.
- Nursing certification (ANCC) in specialty area.
- Bilingual, Spanish-speaking.
- Computer skills: EPIC, Kronos, MS Office: Outlook, Power Point, Word.
- Effectively communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, at all levels, including physicians, leadership, and staff.
- Strong knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 procedure coding.
- Strong knowledge of value-based care and risk-based coding procedures in Primary Care.
- Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers is issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross healthcare provider-level CPR certification.
- Complies with applicable University of Colorado School of Medicine, Community Practice mandatory education and training.
- Maintains all required licensure and certifications for the position.
- Must be able to travel to alternate locations as assigned.
