    Job DescriptionSalary: $60-$65

    Glenn Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital located in Willows CA, in partnership with our physicians, will consistently strive to provide accessible, high quality care within the local community. Our focus is on improving the health and well-being of all individuals by offering inpatient, outpatient and rural health clinic services to the Glenn County community.

    **NEED FULL TIME OR PART TIME, WEEK NIGHTS**

    Experienced RN's only (5 years experience in high level ED or ICU and med-surg required). FT NOC position to collaborate between ED and Med-Surg (25 bed), providing mentorship, guidance, teaching, quality audits, rapid response rounds, code team break/lunch relief for Med-surg & ED nurses and other leadership roles as assigned by Chief Nursing Officer.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The House Supervisor is responsible for providing oversight, leadership, guidance and education to the staff on a daily basis. The House Supervisor will keep all Department Managers, the Chief Nursing Officer or designee informed of progress and potential problems.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Possess current state licensure and current CPR. Physical/emotional stamina, communication/writing skills, five (5) years Medical-Surgical experience with recent Charge and/or House Supervisor experience preferred. Effective interpersonal skills. Possess ACLS, PALS and NRP certification within six (6) months of assuming the position. Must have computer knowledge and ability to navigate various computer systems.

    POSITION SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

    • Providing oversight, leadership, guidance and education to the staff daily.
    • Reviewing documentation and providing concurrent feedback to the staff.
    • Data collection for department QA/PI projects.
    • Assess and document the needs, health status and response to intervention for those patients assigned to an LVN.
    • Ensuring IV medications are administered to those patients assigned to LVN's.
    • Administers, directs and coordinates activities of nursing care within the hospital.
    • Keeps Department Managers, CNO or designee informed of both progress and potential problems.
    • Responsible for the direction of patient care delivery.
