- 3-5 years of hotel Director of Sales experience
- Direct experience with some or all the following hotel sales categories:
- Business Travel Sales
- Government Transient and Group Sales
- Corporate, Social, Tour, and Travel Group Sales
- Crew Sales
- Catering Sales
- Area Market and extended stay experience highly preferred
- Prior experience with Lightspeed System preferred but not required
- 4-year college degree preferred

Description
A top-rated hotel group based in southeastern Virginia is seeking a Director of Sales to lead its sales efforts. The qualified candidate will play a pivotal role in maximizing room revenue for its Hampton, Virginia brand-name hotel property. Responsibilities will include identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities within the local market and this role will work closely with leadership to uncover new business prospects and nurture existing accounts to achieve our revenue goals. Qualified candidates must be willing to reside near the Norfolk/Hampton, VA. area and have local sales experience with that market area.
Total Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 including up to 35% bonus, Comprehensive Health Insurance, 401k, PTO, Sick Pay, and much more
