Description
- Prepare patients for scanning.
- Determine appropriate type and dose of contrast to be administered.
- Provide accurate explanations and instructions.
- Perform venipuncture, IV patency and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines.
- Monitor the patient's physical condition for any adverse reactions during the procedure.
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned.
Requirements- A minimum of 3 years' experience in CT scan.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Active and Current State License-Radiology Technologist.
- Experienced CT tech who is also able to navigate x-ray independently required.
Preferred:- Associate degree of Radiology preferred.
