    MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN - Hematology Laboratory - (Temple University Hospital/40 hours days

    Performs a wide variety of laboratory procedures using both manual and automated methods. Is expected to show a considerable degree of independent judgement regarding the performance and reporting of results. Actively participates in the quality improvement activities of the laboratory.

    Education
    Associates Degree : Medical Laboratory Technology, Biological Sciences Chemistry, or Life Sciences with 26 science credits with appropriate experience in a CLIA laboratory, or Military Training Program (An official U.S. Military medical laboratory procedures training course and that the applicant has held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist - Laboratory Technician (Required)
    Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree that satisfy regulatory agency requirement

    Experience
    1 Year experience in relevant laboratory section (Preferred)

    License/Certifications
    ASCP - Amer Soc Clinical Pathology (Preferred)
