    Job DescriptionAs a Healthcare Documentation and Coding Quality Assurance Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient visit chart notes, as well as verifying the appropriate assignment of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare documentation and coding, with extensive experience in quality assurance processes.


    Responsibilities:

    • Listen to and document patient visits in the electronic health record (EHR)
    • Audit chart notes within the EHR for accuracy and completeness
    • Assign appropriate ICD10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to chart notes
    • Audit codes applied to chart notes by our technology
    • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team Lead to develop workflow policies and procedures
    • Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure satisfaction and compliance

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in healthcare documentation and coding
    • One of the following credentials: CPC, COC, CPMA, CPPM, CDEO, CPMS
    • Strong knowledge of claims adjudication processes and regulatory requirements
    • Familiarity with EHR/EMR technology
    • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience in a healthcare technology company or similar environment
