- Greeting patients;
- Telephone interactions with ancillary services and outside facilities;
- Scheduling;
- Pre-certifications/pre-authorizations;
- Rooming patients;
- Obtaining patient vitals and histories;
- EMR documentation (must be a REGISTERED or CERTIFIED Medical Assistant);
- Assisting physician/provider with exams;
- Monitoring, cleaning, and stocking patient exam rooms;
- Other duties as assigned or necessary.
- Must have Clinical Medical Assisting certification (R.M.A. or C.C.M.A.) credentials or other qualifying certification;
- Previous medical office experience is required;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deliver quality patient care;
- Experience with electronic medical records/proficient computer skills;
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with flexibility;
- Positive attitude and approach;
- Highly organized;
- As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings.
