is seeking a
Network Engineer
to support a company focused on security systems within the DoD. This position is
on-site in McLean, VA
. The
Network Engineer
will lead a team managing enterprise IT systems and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards. Join a mission-driven team delivering secure, efficient IT solutions for critical government programs.
Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include:
- Lead engineering and installation for LAN wiring and fiber optic terminations.
- Install, monitor, and manage switches, routers, and data circuits for voice, data, and video systems.
- Ensure secure configuration of network infrastructure per DoD cybersecurity policies.
- Configure and manage network encryption devices and IP address allocations.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and advise leadership on enhancement.
Required Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering and DoD network infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Cisco network devices, encryption technologies, and IP management.
- Strong understanding of LAN/fiber cabling standards and DoD security protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (preferred).
- Certifications: CCNP Enterprise and DoD M IAT Level II.
- Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
Compensation for the Network Engineer includes:
- Salary Range: $110,000–$130,000 depending on experience.
- Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Sick Leave as required by law.
