Akira Technologies is seeking a junior-level Business Analyst to support the delivery of Navy analytics tools to support decision making by US Navy Chaplain Corps leadership.
Job Responsibilities :
Engage with clients to gather requirements
Manage project tasks and timeline
Examine and assess complex problems
Prepare and iterate on high-quality deliverables with minimal technical guidance and oversight.
Job Qualifications :
Associate's or relevant degree
1-3 years of experience in gathering requirements from clients and stakeholders and turning them into technical specifications
Demonstrated ability to employ research and analytical thinking
Strong attention to detail, project management, time management, and follow through especially as it relates to the creation of client deliverables
Ability to adapt and operate effectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
Proven experience prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with high-ranking Naval officers
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to write clearly and succinctly
Working knowledge and experience of MS Office applications (e.g. MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel)
Experience working with ServiceNow and/or government data management systems (i.e., ADVANA Jupiter) is preferred
Knowledge of US Navy Chaplains Corps is preferred
Secret clearance is required.
