    MYR Group has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Estimator with Huen Electric in Broadview, IL MYR Group, an industry leader for more than 130 years, is parent company to 12 subsidiary electrical construction companies including Huen Electric.

    The Sr Estimator is an integral part of the electrical construction process and ensures competitiveness, profitability, and growth while assisting with maintaining and growing relationships with internal and external customers and clients.. The Sr Estimator is responsible for preparing complete cost estimates & budgets as well as responses to Requests for Proposals (RFO's) for commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. Typical salaries range from $100K - $150K.

  • Prepare complete labor and material cost estimates
  • Prepare bills of material and other information for use by Purchasing
  • Prepare and submit change orders

    • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of electrical construction estimating experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
