    Accounting/Finance Manager

    The Accounting/Finance Manager is responsible for supervising, planning, and directing the accounting operations of the company.

    Job Duties

    • Supervises the accounting department

    • Creates and maintains a system of corporate accounting policies and controls

    • Ensures al financial activities are GAP compliant and adhere to company policies

    • Researches technical accounting issues to ensure compliance

    • Brings inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management

    • Produces annual budgets and forecasts and reports significant differences to management

    • Reviews and processes monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals

    • Performs account reconciliations

    • Manages and complies with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

    • Manages al aspects of the month-end and year-end close process

    • Prepares financial reports

    • Performs monthly audits to ensure accuracy of general ledger coding

    • Prepares variance analysis

    • Processes sales commissions

    • Works with external accounting consultants as necessary

    • Assists with special projects as assigned

    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
    • 5+ years of accounting experience in small company setting (Preferred)
    • Experience in coordinating a variety of complex activities involving associates at
    • CPA (preferred)
    • Experience with multi-entity accounting
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Team player/positive attitude

    • Be responsible and dependable

    • Extensive Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel
    • Excellent organization skills
    • Bilingual - a plus (English and Spanish)
    • Experience with Pipe, Valves, and Fittings - a plus
    • Experience using Prophet21 - a plus

    Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $80, $100,000.00 Per Year
