DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The CHA Imaging department provides advanced medical imaging services led by a team of board-certified physicians, certified technologists, and service-oriented staff. The department offers a complete range of imaging services, including a 128-slice CT scanner and a wide bore 1.5T MRI machine. Additionally, interventional radiology services, diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine are also available. Accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), the department demonstrates a commitment to providing the safest and highest quality care.
Job Purpose: Responsible for conducting all necessary routine and emergency procedures in diagnostic radiology, such as chest, single and multiple view abdomen, and various skeletal exams. The role entails addressing the physical needs of patients during examinations and adhering to radiation protection protocols. The incumbent must possess the ability to independently assess radiograph quality to ensure the effectiveness of the radiological examination.
Qualifications/Requirements: AART certification required. Recent graduates will be considered. AHA or ARC BLS certification is mandatory.
