    Description

    Summary:

    Manages aspects of information system projects. Responsible for systems analysis, design, selection, validation, and implementation. Reports to Manager of IT or above to coordinate technical aspects of information systems processes and projects. Provides technical expertise for information systems projects. This position will be on site 5 days per week at our Wilmington, NC office.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage Information Systems projects and initiatives.
    • Serve as project team member for internal and external clients.
    • Support operational technical requirements.
    • Provide technical expertise in clinical systems design, validation and implementation.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Adhere to all aspects of PharPoint's quality system.
    • Comply with PharPoint's data integrity & business ethics requirements.
    • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
    • Ensure that departmental equipment is maintained in good working condition and that departmental area(s) are maintained in a clean and orderly condition.
    • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in a scientific, computer, or related discipline.
    • Experience: 4+ years of experience in Information Systems or related field. 2+ years in information systems, application development or programming.
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above..
    • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries, especially CRO environment. Technical project management, especially in clinical systems implementation such as analysis, design, testing, and training. Knowledgeable in industry regulations and standards. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English required.
