    Job Summary:
    As an SLPA, you will play a vital role in supporting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with communication and swallowing disorders. Collaborating closely with our team, you will assist in developing and implementing treatment plans, delivering therapy services, and monitoring client progress. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the field of speech-language pathology and make a positive impact on the lives of others.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in conducting assessments under the supervision of licensed SLPs to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
    • Support the development of individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, client goals, and SLP guidance.
    • Deliver therapeutic interventions as directed by licensed SLPs, including speech and language therapy, voice therapy, fluency therapy, and swallowing therapy.
    • Utilize various tools and techniques to enhance communication skills, improve speech articulation, and develop language comprehension and expression.
    • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide support and education on communication disorders.
    • Assist in monitoring student progress, documenting treatment outcomes, and reporting findings to licensed SLPs.
    • Stay updated with advancements in speech-language pathology through professional development activities.
    • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and contribute to the overall success of the school.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
    • Valid and active state certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
    • Previous experience working as an SLPA or in a related role is preferred.
    • Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in speech-language pathology.
    • Ability to work under the supervision of licensed SLPs and collaborate within a team.
