    Patients depend on our team for the best in evidence-based care and innovative therapies, such as inhaled nitric oxide, high-frequency oscillation, and invasive and non-invasive ventilator support modalities.

    Opportunities exist for motivated Registered Respiratory Therapists (and Certified Respiratory Therapy Technicians) with the skills to provide a high level of quality service in a variety of settings including the ED, Trauma and Critical Care.

    Educates the patient and family about the patient's illness and provides information about community support groups and other resources.

    Evaluates respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.

    Responds to codes and calls for emergent assistance. Delivers and assesses response to ordered therapy per plan of care. Monitors, documents, and communicates patient condition.

    ACCOUNTABILITY, ARTERIAL BLOOD GAS SAMPLING - ARTERIAL PUNCTURE, ARTIFICIAL AIRWAY CARE/MAINTENANCE, CUSTOMER SERVICE, HFNC/VAPOTHERM, MECHANICAL VENTILATION WEANING/PULMONARY MECHANICS, NON-INVASIVE POSITIVE PRESSURE VENTILATION (NIPPV), PATIENT AND FAMILY CENTERED CARE, RESPONDING TO CHANGE, STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR

    Accredited Program:
    Respiratory Therapy (Required)BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), Certified Respiratory Therapist (TT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)

    Complexity of Work:
    Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision


    Required Work Experience:
    No prior work experience required.
    National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential is preferred.

    Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) for NICU, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Pediatric areas Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for Adult areas Note:

    Additional Education Info:
    Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
