The Arise Gym, a premier competitive cheer and gymnastics facility located in Lago Vista, is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Competitive Cheer Coach. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cheerleading, with a focus on coaching competitive teams to success. This position offers the opportunity to work with dedicated athletes in a supportive and fun environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement cheerleading routines and choreography

Provide instruction and guidance to cheerleading team members

Plan and organize practices and training sessions

Coordinate and attend cheerleading competitions and events

Ensure the safety of team members during practices and performances

Foster a positive and supportive team environment

Monitor and assess the progress of individual team members

Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance the overall cheerleading program

Skills:

Strong knowledge of cheerleading techniques, stunts, and routines

Ability to educate and train team members on proper cheerleading skills

Proficiency in physical education activities such as swimming, martial arts, climbing, or basketball

Experience in behavior management and fostering discipline within a team setting

Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and provide feedback to team members

Knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures for ensuring the safety of team members

Ability to adapt coaching techniques to meet the needs of individual team members

Previous experience in cheerleading, dance, or related fields is preferred but not required
