- Experience managing all aspects of the general ledger and a strong understanding of GAAP.

- Experience developing/implementing consistent accounting processes, routines, and schedules.
- Ability to identify and investigate accounting issues and propose solutions and best practices to senior management.
- Independent thinker and comfortable working under limited supervision (i.e. self managed).
- Maintain and balance the general ledger and conduct periodic reconciliations of accounts.
- Oversee existing Payroll/AP Manager and ensure the processing of accounts payable is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly.
- Assist outside accountants and tax firm with the completion of annual audit and appropriate tax returns by providing necessary account information and documents.
- Coordinate with Restaurant Operations Director to establish/revise internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions.
- Respond to P&L questions from senior management and field operations managers.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets.
- Coordinate with third party vendor to maintain accounting ERP software system and recommend updates to enhance reporting or increase efficiencies.
- Complete special projects as requested.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
- 8+ years' experience managing all accounting functions, preferably in a multi-location environment.
- CPA preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 – Dependent on Experience
Location: H-E-B/East Ft. Worth
Job Summary:Fast-growing, multi-unit quick service restaurant franchisee seeking experienced Controller to manage all accounting functions, including preparing monthly journal entries, closing month-end books, and preparation of monthly financial statements. This position will also provide support to location level management staff as well as assist senior management with various projects. Ideal candidate will have experience implementing new ERP solutions (i.e., NetSuite, Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and reconciling third-party delivery merchant accounts (i.e., DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.).
