    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled, dedicated, and forward-thinking Financial Analyst / Accountant to join our Administrative Services department.

    The successful candidate will:

    • play a crucial role in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis to support informed decision-making by municipal leadership.
    • be responsible for performing internal accounting and reporting of city revenues and expenses.
    • perform various finance project duties as assigned by the Finance Director, including monthly reconciliations and general ledger accounting procedures.
    • assist in preparation of the Annual Budget, Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, and Popular Annual Financial Report.
    • help to ensure compliance with city's financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

    Qualifications:

    A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or business is required. Qualified applicants must have a minimum of three to five years experience in cash management and accounting, excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, and have a strong commitment to integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct.

    Benefits:

    Competitive Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Position range $55,646 - $76,648. Comprehensive benefit package including health, dental, pension plan, paid time off and holidays. Professional development opportunities.
