    Job DescriptionForma Gym in Walnut Creek is looking for a looking for a passionate, experienced and service-driven Personal Trainer. Join our team and make a real difference in people's lives. We are a family-oriented comprehensive health club in the East Bay. We create a fun, passionate, and inspiring environment with unlimited potential for growth. Our team makes a huge impact on our community through personal training, group exercise, mind body, cycle, aqua, Pilates, and massage.
    Our Personal Trainer are responsible for all personal training, strength and conditioning activities at Forma Gym. These activities include daily personal training sales, public social media prospecting, mobility assessments, nutrition coaching, participating in social events inside the club and around the community, and potential additional money-making opportunities include: Massage, Pilates, and Group X classes. This is a part-time position with potential to grow into more hours; position is not limited in hours but depends on you to take charge and grow your own business. The ideal candidate will have availability during afternoons and evenings during most weekdays and potential weekends. The Personal Trainer will report directly to the Fitness Director.
    Responsibilities:
    1. Personal Training - Strive to always deliver the best possible product and service to each person
    • Use a combination of modalities and approaches to develop a program
    • Constant focus and attention to detail with clients
    • Use holistic research-backed programming with a focus on results.
    2. Personal Training Sales Generate your own leads by being active and engaged in the club and in the community. Convert leads to personal training by scheduling any interested members Fitness Consultations and selling the most appropriate PT option. Some leads will be provided from Membership but expectation is self-growth.
    Requirements:
    • Must have 3 years of personal training experience.
    • Must possess a valid training certification.
    • Must have experience with corrective exercise
    • Must be willing to work with the company standard while actively search for building clientele
    • Trained/certified in multiple modalities is a plus
    • Must have excellent communication skills, positive energy, and time management skills
