Description

An Entry-level Electrical Test Engineer (Automotive) position is available in Mt Vernon, WA courtesy of Akkodis.

Contract position with strong chance of conversion to direct hire.

Rate Range: $ $35.00/hour

DUTIES:

Supporting highway truck program tracking results, coordinating driver scheduling, working with dealers to provide info.
Involved in automotive testing: Collecting data, sharing with engineering team.
Daily updating and recording of data accumulated the previous day.
Helping to track stock of parts and receiving parts for upcoming tests.
Coordinate part shipments to suppliers for failure analysis.
Reports faults that set during testing and helps identify root cause analysis.
Communicates the test plan or requests with drivers and off-site test facilities.
Records and reports observations and feedback from drivers/technicians.
Assists dealership technicians with documentation needed to service or repair test trucks.
Initiate and participate in corrective action projects for truck components as needed.
Participates in data collection and analysis.
Fosters good communications, establishes, and maintains cooperative and productive work relations with all other departments and managers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Recent grad from technical school or college/university.
Entry-level to 2 years of experience.
General knowledge of automotive technology (preferably Diesel Technology).
Experience with fault codes.
Good communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
