The Nurse Manager is accountable for the management and leadership of a specific nursing unit.Responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes resident data, assesses needs, and develops individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team; monitors and revises plan as resident conditions change.
- Provides and supervises nursing care in accordance with state/federal regulations and facility policies, including medication administration, lab draws,and nursing procedures; ensures residents' rights and autonomy are respected.
- SUPERVISES RNs,LPNs,CNAS;delegates tasks,evalues performance,c orrects unprofessional behavior,i'sures safe staffing,'i provides guidance during emergencies or when on call.
