The Vice President Information Technology - Payer Technology will be a strategic partner and change agent in the company's continued multi-state growth in providing seamless, affordable, simple and personal services to our consumers. As a trusted advisor to the executive team, this individual will lead the development of the payer application strategy, roadmap, and execution. The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience in all aspects of information technology in a health plan including claims, enrollment, clinical, utilization management, customer service, data interchange, reporting, pharmacy, sales and marketing, financial services, application/API development, and environment management and support.
We are looking for a strong cross-functional leader who can liaise with other C-suite executives and senior leaders to work harmoniously with different business and information technology verticals to effectively manage a in a matrixed organization. The selected person should have deep experience with aligning multiple stakeholders, generating enthusiasm and endorsement from leadership teams, and broadening our workforce understanding towards organizational change. She/he will be a motivating and respected leader across all levels of the organization and play an integral role in managing our best-in-class teams.
The candidates must be able to demonstrate their leadership experience in the following areas:
Large scale migration and growth initiatives to include De Novo Startups as well as acquisitions.
High-level service execution with internal staff as well as on shore and offshore contingent labor
Managed Capacity Contracts
Understanding of All Health plan EDI transactions
Operating Health Plans in Multiple States/Markets
Support of multiple product lines including Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial Group, Individual products both on and off exchange
Management of systems in a Large scale health plan environment
Large Operational and Capital Budgets and plans.
Master's degree in Information Technology, Business or other related area preferred.
