    Job Title: Medical Assistant


    Arizona Market- $2000 Sign On bonus

    Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at: CenterWell clinics in Phoenix Arizona.

    Medical Assistant Role Overview:

    • Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vitals
    • Recording & updating patient medical histories
    • Performing routine tests and screenings
    • Administering medications
    • Counseling patients on medication and diets
    • Wound care and changing dressings
    • Sterilizing equipment and maintaining examination rooms
    • Collaborating with physicians and nurses
    • Collecting phlebotomy samples from senior-aged patients

    Required Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
    • Bilingual English/Spanish
    • CPR and First Aid certification
    • Advanced Phlebotomy experience
    • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Patient-facing role participating in Tuberculosis (TB) screening
    • Onsite work at the clinic

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 1+ year of experience as a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant
    • Willingness to learn and be cross-trained
    • Experience with HEDIS and Electronic Medical Records
    • Experience in a geriatric setting
    • Rad Tech License (AART)

    Medical Assistant Working hours:

    Scheduled 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM, with potential local travel

    The starting base pay ranges from $34,500 to $47,400 per year, varies by location and individual qualifications.
