    VP, FINANCE/ CONTROLLER, to $190K + bonus

    Excellent opportunity for a VP, Finance/ Senior Controller to join this

    This position is a great combination of Accounting, Finance, and Operations. The person hired will be responsible for driving results that will impact the bottom line.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Direct the entire financial function including accounting, treasury, budgeting/forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.

    Manage/direct a team of ~20 financial professionals providing training, support, and feedback. Develop them to take on increased responsibilities as the company grows.

    Travel to U.S. subsidiary locations as needed

    Provide financial information to management team and guide them in making financial decisions.

    Responsible for general ledger maintenance, monthly close, reconciliations, variance analysis, financial statements, and cash forecast.

    Recommend and implement process improvements, efficiencies, and cost savings.

    Prepare financial statements and reporting packages for management and submittal to parent company

    Provide financial analyses needed for business decisions and to understand the financial aspects of the business

    Prepare accruals, reconciliations, account audits, and ensure proper controls

    Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.

    Develop budget and forecasts along with variance/trend analyses

    Present financial results to non-financial team members and respond to their questions to help them understand the business

    REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance with 30+ Accounting hours; CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus

    10+ years of relevant accounting experience plus minimum 5 years in managerial role

    Strong system skills including Microsoft Suite with advanced to expert Excel skills

    Solid understanding of job costing, inventory, and WIP

    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to explain financial aspects to non-finance team members

    Looking for long-term, growth opportunities and willing to take on increased responsibilities

    Experience with different accounting software and implementations
