Job Summary
Geisinger ConvenientCare is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the team in Bellefonte, PA.
Job Duties
Geisinger ConvenientCare clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems like sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections, and more. They also provide routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services.

Position Details
Education and experience (Required): Advanced practitioners must have the ability to treat patients from age one and older, with a minimum of six months experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care.
Physician Assistant: Completion of an ARC-PA approved program, current NCCPA certification or eligibility, and Pennsylvania State licensure.
Nurse Practitioner: Collaboration with the physician, completion of an approved program for Nurse Practitioners or eligibility for national certification. Eligible for licensure as a nurse practitioner in PA.
Education: Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required)
Certification(s) and License(s): Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA); Basic Life Support Certification
