Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team for the night shift. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications to our long-term care facility residents. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret physician orders to verify accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy.
• Ensure timely and accurate dispensing of medications according to established protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.
• Provide clinical support and guidance to pharmacy technicians and other staff members.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Shift:

• Friday - Tuesday:5:00pm - 1:30am

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy experience.
• LTC experience a plus
• AZpharmacist license.
