Senior Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Company Name. As a top provider of wireless engineering services, we offer 5G, fiber, DAS, connectivity, and telecom solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with various engineering teams and disciplines to ensure project quality, budget, and schedule are met.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead electrical design for water/wastewater projects, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal guidelines.
Provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff.
Aid in the contractor selection and/or bidding process as required.
Design electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service to load for waste(water) utility projects, including electrical system analysis and calculations.
Perform quality control procedures per company standards.
Develop project budget forecast and proactively manage budget needs based on business requirements.
Perform analysis, calculations, design, evaluation, and inspection for a specific area of technical expertise.
Ensure project delivery meets design specifications and compliance.

Skill Set:

8-10+ years of experience within an Electrical Engineering profession.
4+ years of relevant design experience.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer registration.
Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other similar drafting system.
Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications.
