    SCOPE AND PURPOSE:


    To support all levels of the Project Management team with administrative duties, follow up and communication between subcontractors and superintendents.


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Include but are not limited to the following, as other duties may be assigned.


    GENERAL OPERATIONS
    Assist in the receipt of incoming information and reasonable response and follow up in the absence of the project managers, limited to capabilities

    Assist in the preparation of job kit, meeting minutes, and miscellaneous correspondence for project managers and superintendents (as directed)

    Request, accumulate and prepare subcontractor bids, proposals and change orders for addendums or bulletins

    Rough draft correspondence as directed by project managers, i.e. dunning letters, punch lists, and RFI's

    Process, log and distribute submittals

    Follow up with deliveries and outstanding information

    Transmittal of plans and general information to appropriate parties

    Maintain strong communication with subcontractors, clients, architects, etc.

    Coordinate and support superintendent with project managers as needed

    Manage correspondence files, organize closed job files, file, and coordinate close out packages with Acct. clerk

    Answer phones when receptionist goes to lunch


    TECHNICAL PREREQUISITES
    Project a professional image by meeting DEB dress code standards

    Ability to communicate in a positive and professional manner with building managers, leasing brokers, architects, subcontractors, and DEB employees

    Capable to multi-task and meet deadlines

    Familiarity with construction and plans

    College degree or training in a related field

    Software- Excel, Word, Outlook, and Timberline preferred knowledge


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    Sedentary work should be able to sit for long periods.
