Delivery Driver - El Monte, CA

and teamwork are paramount Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles including box trucks flatbeds tanker trucks
and heavy haul equipment to execute deliveries across designated routes Load
and unload freight using forklifts pallet jacks or manual handling techniques while adhering
to safety protocols Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles such as manual transmission trucks shuttle buses or paratransit vehicles
to ensure optimal operation Plan routes efficiently for timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with traffic laws
and company policies Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory within the facility organizing freight shipments
and maintaining cleanliness of the work area Communicate effectively with dispatchers clients
and team members to coordinate delivery schedules
& address any issues promptly Maintain accurate records of deliveries vehicle maintenance logs
& safety inspections in accordance with company standards Proven experience driving commercial vehicles such as box trucks tractor-trailers shuttle buses or limousines previous delivery driver experience is highly valued Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type e.g CDL license for heavy haul or tractor-trailer Mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles familiarity with equipment like fork lifts & pallet jacks Ability t
