    Role Summary

    The Manager of Test Infrastructure will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of our automotive hardware testing infrastructure.

    This individual will lead a team of Lab Manager and EE Technicians to ensure the seamless operation of our testing facilities, enabling the timely and accurate validation of our hardware platforms.

    Responsibilities
    Leadership and Management
    Lead and mentor teams of Lab Manager and EE Technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
    Provide guidance and direction to team members, ensuring alignment with project goals and company objectives
    Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and support professional development opportunities for team members
    Establish measurable individual and team objectives that are aligned with business goals
    Develop partnerships and strengthens the ties between
    CARIADand North American regulators, partners, research institutions, and other stakeholders
    Test System Development & Automation
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Hardware Engineers, Software Developers, and Quality Assurance personnel, to define test requirements and develop testing strategies
    Design and implement robust test infrastructure solutions, including test benches, equipment racks, and instrumentation setups, to support hardware platform validation activities
    Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for enhancing test infrastructure capabilities and improving testing efficiency
    Direct lab manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of the testing facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
    Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to streamline testing workflows, enhance productivity, and reduce testing cycle times
    Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor test infrastructure performance and identify areas for optimization
    Implement best practices for test automation, data management, and documentation to facilitate efficient test execution and reporting
    Years of Experience
    10+ years of relevant experience test infrastructure development and management
    3+ years of leadership experience in the automotive industry, technology industry, or related industries
    Required Education
    Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
    Desired Education
    Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

    Familiarity with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and compliance requirements related to lab management
    Ability to mentor team members, facilitating skill development across various disciplines and fostering a culture of continuous learning
    Demonstrated successes in developing strong long-term working relationships across many layers of an international organization and across cultural boundaries.

    Compensation
    Salary range is dependent on factors such as geographical differentials, credentials or certifications, industry-based experience, qualification and training. In the city of Mountain View, California, the salary range for this position is $149,600 - $228,100.
