    As a Security Officer - Patrol Clearance in Boulder, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and clear communication, while documenting observations and reporting concerns.     What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
    • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site contacts as required.
    • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production or lab areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related hazards.
    • Control access by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, verifying authorization for entry, and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries to the proper locations.
    • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, and monitor security-related systems such as cameras, intrusion alarms, and access control panels as assigned by post orders.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
    • Customer service experience is preferred.
    • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
    • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
    • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
