Description
:Purchasing Equipment parts, raw materials, metals, electronic parts and components supplies, MRO and manufacturing supplies/consumables. All aspects of PO development, processing, verification, terms, and execution.
Negotiate pricing with suppliers/vendors
Create and maintain purchasing metrics, KPIs, OKRs (PPV, supplier OTD, RTV turn around), reduction through quality improvements by the supplier.
Ability to drive cost reductions, reduce on hand inventory, and inventory turns, through volume discounts, blanket orders, alternate suppliers, etc.
Drives data and inventory control accuracy at the BOM, router, inventory, and item master levels to improve material availability
Manage purchase order schedules in MRP to meet production schedules, forecasts, and engineering commitments within 24-48 hours
Assure that all activities comply with ISO 9000 and AS9100 procedures
